This is a broad introduction to the basics of manipulating a puppet, developing a voice and character, working with a monitor and creating and performing simple interactions with other puppets. I bring approximately fifteen high quality retired television puppets: frogs, demons, aliens, socks and chickens who become any personality. Using a monitor to see your puppet gives the performer the unique ability to be the actor and the director at the same time.
I have done this workshop for kids, teens, adults and professional performers as I impart as much of my knowledge as I can so that aspiring puppeteers are quickly able to improvise and have fun performing with puppets.
